Duke University Medical is doing a Study on Neural Tube Defects. Please contact the University by calling 1-800-283-4316 toll free. They will ask you some questions about your family history. They will also send blood testing kits for each member of you immediate family to take. All this is free and you do not need to go to the University to participate! There are 2 ladies, who take the info over the phone. They are Liz Melvin, MS, CGC, Study Coordinator and Genetic Counselor and Debbie Siegel, Patient Coordinator.

They will send you a newsletter every so often to keep you updated on the progress of this study.
